Junkhearts
Junkhearts, stars the inimitable Eddie Marsan, withTom Sturridge and Romola Garai. It features newcomer Candese Reid, who won best newcomer for her role at the 2011 London Film Festival. Junkhearts also won Best Film and Best Actor at the Moscow Film Festival 2012. The roots of the story came from a newspaper report about a practice called cuckooing, where drug dealers were found to be befriending vulnerable people with a flat of their own. The flat would be taken over as a drug den and the occupant kicked out – too frightened, or too dead to do anything about it. Look out for an early appearance by John Boyega of Star Wars fame!
